Josh: (revealing his pick-up line to Fergie after
she read he‘d had a naughty dream about her) All of a
sudden she was walking toward me, I was like, Oh boy. She
stopped. And this is so sad, but I said, in this desperate
voice, 'You're hot!' The crush of a lifetime, and that was
my line! But then an interesting thing happened. She replied,
'Yeah, I read InStyle. So, how was I in your dream?’
Josh: Before I die, I want to see the South of France
and Barcelona. I want a family.
(On his favorite dessert)
Josh: I'm a glutton for Coffee Heath Bar Crunch ice
cream.
Josh:I feel sexiest when I can make you laugh.
Josh: I'm not a buff dude. I'm 6'3 1/2" and gangly.
When I have to be shirtless, I play it off as goofy as I can.
I'm really not that guy.
(About his future and today)Everything's done for me
now. Everything's completely changed.”
Josh: I love football and beer and have a normal
girlfriend.
Josh: When I first started, I wasn't really into
movies that much unless it was an action-packed, gunslinger
with naked women here and there.
Josh: You admire guys like Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp,
and Sean Penn. They avoid that stereotype so much by
choosing these totally off the wall things.
Josh (on his TV and movie success so far): I’ll
ride this out as long as they let me. And if it ends, I’ll
probably go back to school and be a dentist.
The thing I can say about all that’s going on for me right
now is that I appreciate it!
Josh (asking James Caan if he‘d worked with the
legendary Marlon Brando): He just kind of looked at me,
and it took me a few seconds to realise I had made the most
unbelievable error! [laughs] I don’t know why I said
it, because I knew they worked together on one of the
greatest movies ever, The Godfather. I was so
embarrassed - and to this day, James won’t let me live it
down! But he’s a great guy. Very funny, very cool.
Josh (on working with James Caan): At the
start I was very excited about working with him… and also
pretty intimidated. I just wanted him to like me.
Josh (on working on Las Vegas): I love it. It
took a while to get used to, though. It’s a whole group of
people, but after the first few episodes it became
collaborative and creative. Everybody has such a respect for
each other.
Josh: There is a stigma in Hollywood towards soap
operas and soap opera actors. It really ticks me off,
because there are a lot of good actors on soaps. It’s the
ones with the biggest egos and insecurities. They thumb
their noses at soaps. Well, I’ll put it up against any
acting training school you want. You learn about how cameras
are positioned, lighting and production. It was the best
thing that could have happened to me.
Josh: One of my favorite actors is Jack Lemmon. I
would love to have a career like that.
Josh: I was so poor. They wouldn't let me on the
floor as a salesperson, because I was so poorly dressed. And
so I was the stockroom boy.
Josh: I think everybody has crushes. I definitely had
them. Alyssa Milano was one of them. But I think every
teenage boy did.
Josh: I really feel like a regular dude who happens
to be incredibly lucky.
Josh: Finally, you get the job, and you think you'll
be dancing on the ceiling, but I just wanted to go take a
nap. It was just like a weight had been lifted off or
something.
