Nickelodeon has their fair share of characters with super powers, and even the fairly odd. But Nick’s latest caped twosome are actually more “super fans” than superheroes. “Fanboy & Chum Chum,” which premieres on Nickelodeon November 6th, doesn’t star two superheroes but it does feature some superstar voice talents. Among them are “Ghost Whisperer” star Jamie Kennedy and “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” star Josh Duhamel.

Fanboy and Chum Chum are obsessed with all things fantasy and comic books. Armed with their super imaginations, the pair don their tights and then their underwear on top of that before heading out on their daily adventures. In the first episode, Fanboy and Chum Chum welcome wizard school-expellee Kyle, voiced by Kennedy, into their circle.

The CGI-animated show, based on “Random! Cartoons” short “Fanboy,” was created by Eric Robles and is produced by Frederator Studios, who also produces “The Fairly OddParents” for the network. David Hornsby (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadephia”) voices Fanboy, while Nika Futterman (“Star Wars: The Clone Wars”) voices Chum Chum. Kennedy voices wizard friend Kyle, while Duhamel voices comic book store-owner Oz.

“Fanboy and Chum Chum delivers a unique one-two punch-jaw-dropping CG animation along with comedic squash and stretch,” said Brown Johnson, President of Animation for Nickelodeon. “Eric Robles has created fantastic characters in Fanboy and Chum Chum, who are rabid fans of everything pop culture. Their enthusiasm for pure fun is contagious.”

A preview of “Fanboy and Chum Chum” is already streaming on Nick.com and airing on Nick on Demand. The show will officially debut on November 6th, following the premiere of the Spongebob Squarepants anniversary special, “Truth or Square.”  [Source]
