Josh Duhamel might be busy filming blockbuster movies like Transformers 3 and being a self-proclaimed “road dog” to wife Fergie when she’s on tour, but he took the time stop and chat on Live! With Regis and Kelly this morning about his newest flick, Ramona and Beezus. And we’ve gotta say, we think he’s got the makings of a great dad! “Little Joey King, who plays Ramona —I love this little kid. Every time she sees me she comes and runs up into my arms, she’s like, ‘aaaah!’ ” explains Josh, who plays Ramona’s uncle in the movie. Too cute! Even Kelly Ripa agreed, “Josh is so good with kids. He’s like the kid wrangler, the most fun!” Josh continued to extol the fun times he had hanging out with Joey. “So she wants to come and sit next to me when we’re watching the screening. I’m like, yeah, come here! We’re sitting there and there’s a sad part in the movie when a cat dies and I was sitting there [mimicks tearing up]. I can’t be crying in front of an eight-year-old girl, right?” [Source] |

Sporting all-black military gear on a hot summer morning, “Transformers 3″ actor Josh Duhamel took a leisurely bicycle ride around Pioneer Court off North Michigan Avenue on Friday while waiting for his next scene. Onlookers pressed up against a barricade to take photos of the actor, while others gathered to gape at the chaos of flipped cars, fake chunks of rubble and dirt strewn across Michigan Avenue. A small hot dog stand propped alongside the famous boulevard completed the bizarre scene. For Duhamel, a regular in the “Transformers” series, it was another day at the office. For Chicagoans? A rare up-close look at Hollywood glamour and excess in action. Friday was the first day of a three-day “Transformers 3″ shoot around Pioneer Court that has shut down Michigan Avenue from Wacker Drive north to Ontario Street for the weekend. Office workers had to find new routes to work, hemmed in by sightseers and celebrity-seekers, all urged by radio-wielding security workers to keep moving. Read full article. |

No, no, Josh Duhamel isn’t breaking Fergie’s heart. While there have been rumors of him cheating on the Black Eyed Peas siren in the past, the twosome’s marriage is quite intact. They were recently photographed strolling down the streets of Milan where the Peas are on tour. More importantly, Fergie doesn’t have to contend with Kate Hudson or Jennifer Aniston being pissed off at her. Those ladies have been sharpening up their ice picks, not just with each other over Gerard Butler, but Hudson is ticked off at Cameron Diaz for seducing N.Y. Yankees baseball player A-Rod. Recently speaking to U.K.’s Company Magazine, the “Transformers” actor elaborated on how marriage has its up and downs, but is excellent in the long-run. “I believe in love, for sure. I don’t think there’s any doubt that love is real, but there are different levels. It ebbs and flows. Fergs and I have been together for six years and our relationship has changed so much. I mean, the first three months, well, there’s nothing like it!” He further confirms, “But, after six years, our marriage is stronger than ever, and it can get even better.” [Source] |

American actor and former model Josh Duhamel achieved his first acting success in 1999 as Leo du Pres on ABC’s “All My Children” and later, as the chief of security, Danny McCoy, on NBC’s “Las Vegas”. He is also well-known for his role as one of the protagonists, Captain William Lennox, in the box office hit “Transformers” as well as its sequel, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”. Josh stars as Nick Beamon, a charming reporter, in Walt Disney’s romantic comedy “When In Rome” which released in India earlier this month. Excerpts from an interview with Josh: Describe your character in “When In Rome”? I play Nick Beamon, a reporter. Nick grows up in Minnesota and moves to Red Hook, New York at the age of 12. He is a football player and played college football at Syracuse. What was it like to work with co-star Kristen Bell? You know, some girls can just turn it on, while some are just natural. She’s got it, I mean, she’s able to just be right there. Whether it’s a funny scene or a scene that’s pivotal to the movie which is more of the romantic kind rather than comedy, she can do them both. And she’s good. Read full article. |

Although no one knows what’s in store for the Decepticons and Autobots, director of Transformers 3, Michael Bay, said Frances McDormand, John Malkovich and Ken Jeong are all new members of the cast. According to Deadline New York, McDormand plays the National Intellignece Director in this upcoming installment of Transformers. Malkovich plays the boss of Sam Witwicky (played by Shia LaBeouf). MTV News reported that Josh Duhamel continues his role as Major Lennox in the movie. Despite this new information, much of the information about the film is still under wraps. However, Bay also disclosed some of the filming locations in his blog. He wrote, “We are going to shoot in LA, Chicago, Washington DC, Florida, Texas, Africa, Moscow, and China.” Questioning this extreme range of locations, MTV News wrote, “As for what causes such a globetrotting adventure, there’s no word on what the Transformers sequel has in store for the fans.” As for the rest of the movie, nothing is revealed yet. However, Duhamel told MTV News that the screen writers put a lot of energy into the script. He also said, “What I think is really cool is they went back into the history of Transformers. They didn’t really make anything up. They’re using stuff that actually existed in the story from before.” [Source] |
